A new Financial settings page for your camp

Every camp runs its finances differently. This update brings together what camps have told us about how billing looks, for your team and for families.

  • Financial settings. Choose how negative amounts show, the default order of billing activity, and which address prints on your documents. Your fiscal year, automatic invoices, and reminders are set here too, once for the whole camp.
  • Balances that look familiar. Amounts owed are positive and credits are negative, or in parentheses if you prefer, with no color coding. It applies everywhere, including the Campers table and exports, and saved views and filters update on their own.
  • A simpler balance card. Charges, discounts, taxes, and fees add up to a total, then payments, scholarships, and credits come off to show the outstanding balance. Scheduled payments sit in a dropdown, and families see the same card in their portal.
  • Pending scholarships reduce balances. A scholarship you’re still waiting on comes off the balance as soon as it’s added, and families only pay what’s left. If it doesn’t come through, void it.
  • Payment plan at a glance. Each camper’s billing page shows their plan and payment method, whether that’s installments, a deposit and balance, or paid in full.
  • Redesigned financial documents. Statements, invoices, and receipts show a statement date, session dates, and clear totals. Invoices include a tear-off slip for families paying by check, and receipts are marked paid or refunded.
  • Send a statement as a reminder. Email a family their statement PDF from the billing page in one step.
