What's included in Campfront's per-camper price?
Your per-camper price covers the full platform with no hidden fees. Registration, payments, forms, reporting, 50GB of media storage with AI tagging, 2,000 SMS messages per month, parent and staff portals - it's all included as standard.

There are two optional extras. Additional media storage is available if you need more than the included 50GB. Facial recognition is an optional add-on priced per person (campers and staff). Many camps choose to pass this cost on to families as part of their photo package, turning it into a revenue opportunity rather than an expense.

How do Campfront's pricing tiers work?
Pricing is based on an enrollment fee per camper, with the cost decreasing as your enrollment grows. Each tier applies only to the campers within that range, so your overall cost per camper goes down the more campers you enroll.
How does Stripe payment processing work with Campfront?
Payments run through Stripe Connect at their standard processing rates - we don't add anything on top. Camps can choose to absorb fees or pass them on to families. We support card, ACH, and check.
How does Campfront bill for SMS messages?
Every camp gets up to 2,000 SMS messages per calendar month included free. Usage above that is charged per message, but the price is always displayed before you send so you're always in control. Email broadcasts are also included in your per-camper fee.
How much does Campfront's media library cost?
Every camp gets up to 50 GB of storage free, which includes media sharing, AI tagging, and downloads. Beyond that there's an annual charge for additional storage due to the high costs of media hosting and delivery. Facial recognition is an optional per-person add-on — use the calculator above to estimate your cost.
Why is facial recognition a paid add-on in Campfront?
Running facial recognition, AI image tagging, and delivering high-quality downloads to families and staff costs us real money per person to process and serve. We keep our per-camper enrollment fees as competitive as possible, so rather than baking these costs in for everyone, we offer it as an optional add-on so you only pay for it if you use it.
Does Campfront offer multi-camp pricing?
Yes. If you operate more than one camp, we calculate your pricing based on total enrollments across all of your camps combined, not each camp individually. This means you benefit from the higher volume tiers sooner. For example, three camps with 500 campers each would be priced as 1,500 total campers rather than three separate accounts of 500.

Why was Campfront built?
We've wanted to do this for a long time but the timing never felt right. After transitioning to an employee-owned business, it became a now-or-never moment. We believe we can offer something genuinely better - bringing everything we've learned from Camp Leaders technology to camp management.
Is Campfront a long-term camp management platform?
The people building Campfront have been in camping for decades. This isn't a side project. We're in it for the long term and investing heavily to build the best product possible.
How does data migration to Campfront work?
We handle it with you. Bring over as much or as little as you want. We use AI-powered CSV import with duplicate detection, and we'll help you plan the migration around your off-season so there's no disruption to your season.
How does Campfront secure camp data and payments?
Campfront uses subdomain-based multi-tenant isolation so every camp's data is completely separate. We support Google and Microsoft SSO and two-factor authentication. Role-based permissions let you control exactly who can see and do what. Payments are handled via Stripe Connect - we never store card details.
Will Campfront's pricing change over time?
We believe in fair, transparent pricing - no quotes hidden behind emails or demo calls. We think camps are paying too much for per-camper enrollment with existing providers. Our business model is built around revenue from sources that don't come out of the camp's pocket. If you need a pricing commitment in writing, we're happy to provide one.
Are Campfront enrollment fees refundable?
The enrollment fee is non-refundable. This is because we've already incurred costs to provide the enrollment service. We've worked hard to keep our prices fair and competitive, so unfortunately we can't offer refunds if a camper withdraws or is canceled.
