Pricing
Who pays the Campfront Events ticket fee?
The buyer pays it by default, as its own line at checkout on top of the ticket price. You can switch it so your camp covers the fee instead, and buyers see the ticket price only. To cover your own admin costs, you can also set the fee higher, and anything above $2.99 goes to your camp.
Does Campfront charge for free events?
No. The fee only applies to paid tickets, so free events cost nothing for you or the people booking.
How do payments for Campfront Events work?
Card payments go straight to your camp’s Stripe account at Stripe’s standard processing rates, and we don’t add anything on top. With Pay later, you’re paid in full when the booking is made.

Common questions
Can we use Campfront Events without the rest of Campfront?
Yes. Events works on its own, so you can sell tickets without running enrollment or anything else in Campfront.
Do people need an account to buy tickets?
No. Anyone with the link can book and pay without logging in. If their email matches a parent account, the booking also shows in their parent portal.
Can we refund a booking?
Yes. You can refund a booking in full or in part, straight from its page in Campfront. Card payments are refunded through Stripe, and you can record refunds for cash, check, or wire payments too.
Who on our team can manage events in Campfront?
Owners and Admins can by default. You can give other roles access in Roles settings.
